Welcome to 2012!

I thought this year we’ll try something a little different, well more back to beginnings. Years ago I used to blog about my life & my silly adventures ~ all the silly stuff but more importantly about me. So this year I thought I’d introduce a little bit more about me & share with you the person (& team) that creates these images.  So thank~you for taking the time to check out my little business website & blog. 2012 Begins

Coming back from a ten day mini break to greet the new year has never felt better. It’s a great time to reflect on the positives and highlights of 2011 as well as look forward to all the new & exciting things that await us all in 2012. I’m hoping you all got to spend some quality time with your families over the holidays as well as recharge, connect  and basically, relax.

The Jelly Bean team (Yel, Aly & I), had great times with family & friends and consumed way too much food.

To share with you all what we got up to over the break, here’s a sneak peak…

With so much change going on for my family & me,  the one thing I hadn’t made the opportunity to do was get back into the garden. Back in 2005, I packed up my geek life in the IT industry and headed over to a little island called Cyprus. I spent the next few months living in a non-English speaking village. To earn some money I worked on a little veggie farm planting, nurturing and growing fresh fruit & veggies (which I sold to the nearby villages).

It was something I enjoyed very much & have very fond memories of. Since coming back to Australia, it has been something I wanted to get back into & more importantly its something I would love to do with my daughter.  So over the Christmas break, we got stuck in!

Just to end this post, a little portrait of the person who keeps me (& Jelly Bean) on track! My beautiful wife!
