My favourite photographs of my family are the ones I gaze into and remember that time. It could be that actual moment or that time in our lives. It’s that feeling I get when looking and feeling a moment frozen in time, frozen in a photograph.
I look at photographs of my wife, how that sparkle in her eyes as only made her more beautiful to me. The growth of my daughter. Was she really ‘that’ little and how she’s always had a cheeky look about her! I enjoy photographs of my own moments, travelling the world and discovering myself.
It’s that warmth, that feeling I get from my photographs.
I am often am asked to capture formal’ish photographs of families and children. Once that requirement is done, the real fun can begin – when we can be a little silly, be ourselves and capture truth and feeling.
A moment in time, not anyone’s.. Yours.
Everyone has a story to tell, it is my lot to capture the feeling of yours, for you to enjoy and share with others special in your life.
Who me
I’m mike constantinou, owner and principle photographer of Jelly Bean Photography. Since late 2006 I have been photographing families, children and especially focused on children’s’ special occasions – Christenings and Baptisms, which has really become my speciality.
Back in 2009, I joined the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) as an Emerging member, not only to strive harder to improve my skills but more importantly to push myself as a photographic artist and create better photography for my fantastic clients. It has taken a little over two years and thousands of photographs and now in 2012 I have attained the level of Accredited Professional Photographer with the AIPP – Australian Institute of Professional Photography.
Entering my first competition in 2011, I won a Silver Award in AIPP Victorian Professional Photographer of the Year Awards, Portrait Category.
Who am I? Loving husband & silly dad, apprentice green thumb and one time painter who still plays with wardollies.. (ask about it some other time).
To me personally photographs are a very important part of my life, I love to document my own family life as much as I can.
My personal and professional journey never stops.
